Waking Moon Festival

A traditional festival in Mengzhou, rooted in the legend of the Divine Fox who saved the region. Celebrations include Moon Lantern floating, street performances, and lantern processions throughout the city. By releasing lanterns into the water, the people hope to entice Hsin the Moon Fox to appear and share in the joys of the mortal world.
